Each day I wake to life anew,
Another chance to make
New choices ever always upward,
Lessons learned from past mistakes.
Be with me now as I go through this day,
Thy narrow path to take.
And guide me always in The Way;
Thy will I seek to make.
Dear Lord, sometimes I wonder why
Thy grace you give so dear;
You've chosen to bestow on me
And keep me ever near.
I only know that I must walk
The path you place before me,
That through my faith your righteousness
Shall always help support me.
I thank you, Lord, for each new day,
For each new step I take;
And may I always be in your eyes
A blessing for your sake.
As I walk through this world
May I display the wonder of your glory;
To those I meet, help me be sure, be sweet,
Walk the talk; Lord, help me be holy.
