In the dark of night, far away,
in a town called Bethlehem,
a tiny baby came to be
and the world would honor Him.
Wise men carried gifts of gold,
frankincense and myrrh;
they knew this child would be a King,
a Savior, to be sure.
His mother held Him in her arms
as His father stood nearby;
people came from far and wide
just to see this perfect Child.
And still, we honor every year,
the birth of Christ the King,
the Child who came to give us hope;
instead, He gave everything.
