Nancy

The Lord called my sister away today,
I asked him last night as I prayed.
To take her home or make her whole,
To heal her body and save her soul.
It hurt my heart to see her so sad,
Suffering in pain and feeling so bad.
I knew he could and that he might,
Take her away unto his light.
I didn't want him to take her home,
I wanted sickness to leave her alone.
We ached knowing she wasn't so glad,
Suffering in pain and looking so bad.
In stead of my will Gods will be done,
What we will doesn't matter he's the one.
My prayers were answered not like I planed,
My sister was taken away only by Gods hand.
Goodbye Nancy, I know we'll see you again,
Happy in Heaven with all your friends.
O Yes I know she'll be just fine
Being with Jesus, and her dad, and mine.
