Our Worse Day
Our life, self destroyed, wickedly bad,
Feeling strife, tempting toyed, stifling sad,
Damaging debt, anger erupting, needing food,
Panic wept, thoughts burning, dire mood.
Careless crying, money seeking, greedy whining,
Constant comparing, barely peeking, leery lining,
Subtle deprecate, running away, wishing smiles,
Easy hate, never stay, endless miles.
Changing seasons, rainy dark, questing love,
Faithless reasons, rapidly stark, world shove,
Haunting hope, selfish friends, deep depression,
Trying cope, answer ends, addiction session.
Puzzlement play, sorry seat, seduction strife,
Worse day, we meet, longing life,
Pleading pray, Heavenly towers, God sees us,
Best day, eternally ours, is with Jesus.
