We Walk By Faith and Not By Sight

“We walk by faith and Not by sight.” So why are you discouraged, oh my soul (mind, will and emotions)? and why are you disquieted within me? Hope thou in God. For He shall direct your path and is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him.”

“He has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind.” “If God is for you, then who can be against you?” For “His perfect love casts out all fear.”

If it weren’t for God, how then should I know which way to walk? He has provided for me all these years. Has he not given me His Word that directs and guides me as I seek Him? He said, “I will never leave you or forsake you.” Then I ask, “Why are thou disquieted, oh my soul?” Again, I say, hope thou in God.

“Many are the afflictions of the righteous; BUT GOD delivers them out of them all.”

What shall I say then to these things? Take my hand Lord and lead me in a clear path.

I will look for your provisions, not in the ways that I may seek them, but in the ways in which you shall provide them for me. For you are Jehovah Jira, my provided. Your ways are higher than mine.

I shall then obey your word and walk by faith and not by sight as I listen for your small voice within me directing my path and then thank you every day for your provision in a dry and thirsty land where no water is. You will spring up a well of refreshing for me.

I thank you for it before the water springs forth.

Praise God, thank you! for your mercies are new every morning and your hand provides for me. For you say in your word, “Behold I have engraved you in the palm of my hand.” And “no weapon formed against you shall prosper.”

Blessing and honor to you, my Lord and Savior, for keeping me in the palm of your hand and directing my path. I praise you from this day forward. Amen
