Lost But Not Forgotten

Lost but not forgotten in time and space is an unforgettable feeling as I seek your face.

The clouds of life have blocked my view of you dear God. And I stumble and fall as a lost child wandering in the mist of my darkened world. They reach out of the darkness and plea for my soul. But, God you have surrounded me with your love, mercy and grace.

Seeking here and there and wondering which path to take I think upon the times of your mercy and grace your protection and care, your undeserving love. And yet, you love me.

Lost but not forgotten is what I hear you speak to my soul. “I will never leave you or forsake you.” is what I remember you told me. God, where are the times of my yesterdays with your ever present presence in my life?

I am here in the midst of your day I didn’t leave you, you just didn’t walk my way. You stopped calling on me as you walked through this time and you didn’t speak to me you forgot you were mine.

It wasn’t the plan I laid for you, you got confused and didn’t know what to do. Stand fast and see my salvation for I you. Father and have not forgotten you.

Lost you may be but forgotten never. I will give you strength in your plight and take you out of the dark night. You will not stumble and you will not fall for I have given my angels charge over you.
