God Attends a Sparrow's Funeral

Lying lifeless-
A little bundle of gray feathers
insignificant to us...
And yet,
the Heavenly Father
cared for him
and marked his fall!
Did He also weep?
Perhaps so, perhaps so!
His little life,
his chirping chorus of
joy in God's creation
is not forgotten.
Not forgotten-
We have His Word!
